Luke & Hollie
at the Orange County Courthouse
a beautiful elopement from the UK at
The orange county courthouse
There’s something incredibly special about traveling all the way from the UK to Orlando to begin your marriage with just the two of you. This Orange County courthouse elopement was intimate, joyful, and completely focused on what mattered most - the couple and the commitment they were making to each other. As a photographer, I loved documenting those quiet moments between the excitement: the anticipation before the ceremony, the little glances, the smiles. Courthouse weddings may be simple, but they can still hold so much meaning, and this one was a beautiful reminder that you don’t need a large celebration to make your wedding day unforgettable.

I had the honor of joining Luke & Hollie at the Orange County courthouse for their intimate elopement from the UK. They were engaged here in Orlando and chose to begin their marriage here as well. I love being with the couples as they enter the courthouse and get ready for their forever. I always snap a few solo portraits before we head into the ceremony room. Documenting your day is so much more than just capturing the big moments - the quiet moments that matter too.

After waiting in the lobby for a short while, we went into the intimate ceremony room. It is softly lit, tranquil, and perfect for special private ceremonies.
You can exchange personal vows there and make your wedding truly your own. There we will capture vows, ring chance, first kiss. There is space for family and friends to join as well.

After the ceremony, we couldn't leave without capturing the iconic courthouse elevator photo! It's one of my favorite moments to photograph during an Orange County Courthouse wedding. These fun, candid images add so much personality to an elopement gallery and help tell the complete story.
One of the best parts of an Orange County Courthouse wedding is the incredible architecture surrounding the courthouse. After your ceremony, we can stroll around the building to capture timeless portraits featuring its grand columns, modern design, and beautiful downtown backdrop.
Located in Downtown Orlando, the courthouse is also within walking distance of a variety of locations, giving us the opportunity to add even more variety to your wedding gallery. If you'd like to explore the area after your ceremony, we can always extend your elopement photography coverage to capture even more unforgettable moments.

Frequently Asked Questions About Orange County Courthouse Elopements
Do I need a photographer for a courthouse wedding?
Absolutely! Your courthouse wedding is still your wedding day. From signing your marriage license and exchanging vows to portraits afterward, professional photography ensures these once-in-a-lifetime memories are beautifully preserved.
What Should We Wear to Our Courthouse Wedding?
There are no rules when it comes to what you should wear for your Orange County Courthouse wedding! If you envision your day feeling like a traditional wedding, I encourage couples to wear formal wedding attire. A wedding dress, suit or tuxedo, bouquet, boutonniere, veil, jewelry, and other meaningful accessories can elevate your photos and make the day feel even more special.
If formal attire isn't your style, that's perfectly okay too! Many couples choose a more casual look, whether that's a simple white dress, business casual attire, or outfits that reflect their personalities. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident.
How long should I book courthouse wedding photography?
My elopement sessions reserve up to 2 hours of photography coverage. This allows plenty of time to document your arrival, paperwork, ceremony, family photos (if applicable), romantic portraits around the courthouse, and even a short walk through Downtown Orlando.
Can we take photos around the courthouse after the ceremony?
Yes! The Orange County Courthouse offers beautiful architecture, grand staircases, modern details, and several scenic portrait locations. The courthouse is located in downtown Orlando, providing even more variety for your wedding gallery.
Can we include family or guests?
Of course! Whether you're eloping with just the two of you or celebrating with close family and friends, I'll capture candid moments, group portraits, and all the meaningful details of your courthouse wedding.
When should we book our courthouse wedding photographer?
I recommend booking your photographer as soon as you've scheduled your Orange County Courthouse wedding appointment. This helps ensure your date is available and gives us plenty of time to plan your photography timeline.
